Program

The School of Education in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech offers:
1) A graduate licensure program in which students earn a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a postgraduate professional license for History and Social Science (social studies) 6-12,

2) A Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction for practicing/inservice teachers. This course can be taken on a full time and part-time basis. Prospective students should contact Dr. David Hicks

3) A PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on history and social science (social studies education).
